Mary's grandmother, the matriarch of a family of over 100. Mary's dad is one of 14 kids, and this amazingly spry woman spent the morning peeling then smashing bananas, then mixing it with suksuk (sago) to make pudding for us - PNG icecream, the family called it, and I liked it enough to have 4 pieces. Needless to say, it was nice and sweet.
