So tired

boarding duty.

wake the girls up at 5.50am

supervise work parade for an hour

make sure the cooks are doing their job with breakfast

supervise breakfast noise levels

push the girl into getting changed in the 5 minutes between end of breakfast and bell for assembly

oversee the day's routines

crack the whip during afternoon charges, wandering the school grounds making sure girls are cutting grass or washing walls and not telling stories

hang around for the 1.5 hours recreation

supervise dinner, washing up

listen to the news from a distance and make sure they're not roaring down the AV room and disturbing the Sisters

wait for the night study teacher to relieve you at 6.45pm

urgghhhh!

thank God for Independence Day and public holidays - only half a day left!

Mmm, that's interesting. Times have changed. During my time we did not have any teachers for morning duty, only in the afternoons and for night study. But it sure is very informative indeed, thanks Riss for the update on M'ville life. At least the girls get to watch the news on TV unlike before.
